The Brighton Golf Club of today is very different from the one first mentioned
as a founding member of the original Victorian Golf Union of the early 1900's.
Brighton Golf Club will provide members of all ages and abilities with a
quality golfing experience within a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
This we will achieve with highly motivated teams of volunteers,
working together to make our Club an enjoyable and affordable place to play golf and socialise.
Every year The Brighton Golf Club holds a charity day to raise funds for the Australian Red Cross. This year is the 46th year anniversary of the special golf tournament.
Relief in times of crisis, care when it’s needed most and commitment when others turn away. Red Cross is there for people in need, no matter who you are, no matter where you live. The Red Cross Red Crescent Movement helps tens of millions of people around the world each year and here at Australian Red Cross, we care for local communities in Australia and further afield. With millions of volunteers worldwide and thousands of members, volunteers and supporters across Australia we can reach people and places like nobody else
Sandringham Hospital is a much loved community hospital located in the heart of Bayside Melbourne. The hospital opened its doors in 1964 after almost 25 years of community persistence, advocacy and fundraising to build the then state of art facilities.
Today the dedicated doctors and nurses at Sandringham Hospital care for more than 68,000 people each year including more than 10,000 children. Although the government provides us will the essentials, there is always more that can be done and community support enables us to purchase the most up-to-date medical equipment and upgrade facilities to improve care for our community.
